Why is it taking so long? [A message to the readers]

To all readers patiently waiting for the latest novel – “Alpha” – to be updated:

first of all, thank you.

I want to apologize for not posting regularly as of late. Unfortunately, a lot of things are going on in my life and, at this very moment, I can’t seem to find the time to sit down and commit to my writing like I did in the past.

I am so sorry about that.

However, I am doing my best to catch up and, in fact, writing whenever I get the chance. Things are moving slower than expected and planned, and that is why you haven’t seen a new update in the past few weeks. But I’d rather take a little more time and write what is, by my standards, a great chapter than be in a hurry and publish something that I would consider sub-par. It is a matter of respect for you, myself, the characters and the story itself. That said, I will likely start posting again when a few good, seriously good chapters are ready.

This quick message is just to say that I’m not giving up on the story and that it WILL be finished, like all the previous ones. So please bear with me and continue to be patient if you can.
